Online gaming has always been about either competing or cooperating with other players. The flexibility of Rift allows both aspects of these sports to be heavenly indulged upon. Most MMO games have servers dedicated to either PvP or PvE with Rift having a 1:5 Ratio with the Exception of Faeblight being PvE RP. As a relatively new player I have noticed a lack of a promising reward system for the Warfronts and open world PvP and this disappoints me greatly. As a gamer I believe that its not about whether you win or lose but when, where, how, and why you play the game. I am a proud Seastone player not because of the population or because the name sounds cool. I am here to let the Developers know that this is where the heart of the game resides. PvP is how you send a direct message to another player saying I am better than you now go step your game up! While good PvE is fun and a must for Exp and Mats, it will never have the intensity or as many endless possibilities as PvP.
Now tell me which do you think is better and how do you think either style can be perfected?
