All the content in the game is totally free, there is nothing like dungeons,raids, zones,quests etc blocked off to you.

All you might have to pay for are the extra two souls for each calling (Cleric, Mage, Rogue, Warrior) and the new calling Primalist which is a paid for calling.

You can level all the way from 1 to 65 without ever spending real money, any optional extras you think you might need, you are able to buy them with in game currency after some time spent getting said marks, you can also buy REX (a bit like WoW tokens) for in game currency from other players.

Just keep in mind, if you intend to use the Auction House to sell items, you will need to earn some Loyalty or buy $5 worth of credits to unlock it.
