What is up with this? I get about 10 of these per day (around 6-8 hrs of play time). It's annoying as all get out. I am already in a guild and if I wasn't I would use Guild Finder.
@ 23:36:06 I got this random /tell just a bit ago while on my new cleric by the name of Zodisesprincess " Hiyas 
I will admit I got short with this person, but these random /tells asking me to join a guild have finally gotten the best of me. I just want them to stop!
Now I know some of you will tell me to go to my chat settings and untick /tell.
But really why should I have to even cut off my friends from being able to /tell me?
That isn't fair to them nor to me.
So, I ask Trion to find some method to fix this. I can't even offer up a suggestion on how to fix it, but there has to be a way.
