Falling through dim items

Greetings, my fellow "is downtime over yet"-eers!

I have had a peculiar problem show up of late, falling through dim items--in particular, the tarken ice columns. At standard size, I can run around the top and bottom of the item just fine, but once I expand it to max size, I fall through. I've tried the usual fixes but nothing has solved the issue.

This applies to both the vendor-purchased column and the massive one. I've been having trouble falling through terrain in general, not only in dimensions (nothing worse than suddenly being underneath a dim!) so I wonder if it is my computer or something more widespread.

I really want these columns for the surefire-winner Yule dim, too
