Hola a todos y a todas, quería saber si hay hispanos hablantes en el juego de rift ya que me siento muy solo soy lvl 30 con la class cleric y 10 en mage, el servidor en el que me encuentro es el primero de pve, tengo muchas dudas del juego entre estas, donde o como obtener buenas armaduras, cual es la mejor zona para minar ya que obtener mineral en el juego es bastante frustrante y sobre tener personas con quienes hablar para lograr entretenerme en este fantástico juego.

The [notactive] modifier only works with toggled buffs - things like living energy. So you can't have automatically reapplying buffs whenever you get purged or they run out.
Eldritch armor is not oGCD, and storm armor is. The reason it probably works with the storm armor is that it continuously keeps storm armor on CD (it has 5s, shared with tempest armor IIRC) and therefore carries out the other cast commands below it in your macro.
You can get away with it with storm armor, but I wouldn't recommend it because of the mana drain and the fact you can't switch to tempest armor if your spec has it as storm armor will always be on CD.

Dark IciclesSo i missed the phase one quest to give me ten. So I'll only be able to get 20 total? If so that kind of is a bummer as anything good costs 30 icicles.

For those who just need a few additional icicles 1min missions would be an obvious solution. Just farming them with all slots while playing as usual will get you a few icicles for sure (they are a rare drop, but they're in there, and it's better than 10hrs). Also, since the event stuff is mostly BoA, you can always buy some stuff with your alts (unless it's accesories) and send to your main.
You might also want to do the minion quest chain, because the chain adventure drops are better than regular event ones and can get you some additional icicles.
Of course, all the 30 icicle thingies are available for a reasonable credit price, in case you don't have enough time to farm the currency or missed too much event time to compensate them with minions.

So i used the instant boost to 375 crafting scroll from the ascended trove, and for some reason i cannot select Survival for the boost. Anyone know...According to various sources on the internet, the quest giver moved, making this quest not work. The NPC, Rahn, is found in Pilgrim's Crossing. The web puts the quest location to the east.

i can't take farming these damn things anymore. i won't have what i need to complete the quest on any of my characters and from farming them i have a distaste for most things in game.
i have gotten some nice gear from dungeons and things i got with marks and such and my characters have turned the tide in some pvp matches but i dont care any more. being forced to do so much content in such a short time just killed alot of the fun. now its run x dungeon again and again for a few more bread crumbs and i'll have to do it 40 more time or play 8 more pvp matches so i can get A(1) win is just ugh.

Hi all, I haven't played since right after launch and I see that alot has changed. What I can't seem to find are descriptions of how each soul can play.
I'm looking for a playstyle that would allow dual wielding while also using magic/elemental attacks. I played the paragon when I first started but it got kind of stale. If you've played WoW the Enhancement Shaman is a great example of how I like to play.
Any and all suggestions are very much appreciated.

I have had the pleasure of seeing many wonderful Yule time dimensions in game. I know some dimensioneers loath contests, they build not to compete, but to express themselves. I was hoping by having the pre-existing category in my contest to get a lot of them more visibility. I suspect since it is a contest, some have shied away. Currently I am at the hardest part of the Sparkle quest, choosing between Tank or DPS/Heals. I know that so far all piece from MoM are dropped as DPS then are upgraded to Tank and the sparkle drops reflect this. But has anyone chosen the tank piece and been able to upgrade it to DPS or has chosen the tank piece in general?

I was quite excited to have a new class for pvp, which is all i play in rift.
But i was gutted to discover only 6 souls and even worse only half the points and a lack of abilities... Partly my fault as i should have done research, but why wouldnt i expect to have the standard 76 points etc same as every other class?
So, theres very little variety. Cant hybrid much. And im bored already.
Feels like less than half a class.
Feels unfinished.
Wish i hadnt wasted my money and time.
Definately wont be paying for the other primalist souls unless they up it to 76points and more abilities. And even then i will feel like im paying twice for something i expected in the first place.
Disappointed in the primalist.

I'm interested in PvE, eventually raiding, and possibly roleplaying. (I'm very interested in this but not sure what to expect.)

I just reinstalled Rift and hadn't played it much to start but am moving on from WoW and remember liking it a lot. I'll be on a NA server.
This is going to sound weird but bear with me. I belonged to a raiding guild in WoW but didn't raid. I get something totally different out of the game and find PvP and raiding frustrating. However, I loved exploring the world and gathering mats. I did dailies all the time but didn't have anything to spend my gold on. I ended up asking if any guilds would let me farm gold and mats for them while they raided, got a reply and ended up working about 20 hours a week. It was perfect for me and I've never enjoyed WoW more than working for that guild. There was RP on that server so I played a grunt. Obviously everyone else liked it too.
I was wondering if I could join a guild, level a character, and farm for a guild in Rift. Additionally, since Rift is free to play, I'd like to pay a membership fee in REX to people in the guild. I know this sounds weird but if you would think it's funny or you feel like I'm stupid for asking for it, please respond or PM me to tell me where to make my character and get started.

Enter game, no healers. I swap to heals and managed to keep everyone up for a minute before we wipe (thanks to the other team focusing me down). Instead of someone swapping to heals or fixing our team comp people just give up. (Other healer showed up at 350 points.)
How is this fair to other players like myself? People giving up and utterly throwing a game utterly ruins the game for me. It's an utter waste of my time and I get absolutely nothing out of it. There are no rewards in PvP outside of winning, if you're on the losing team regardless of how well you do your time is absolutely wasted and with these matches being so common it's such bull****.
Also the two dead players in group 2 showed up to a loss, this should have been fixed by now.

I'm not sure if it's a shard/server issue, or an instance thing - but raids have certainly become more and more buggy over the last few weeks.
The hour and a half that I spent in the Mind of Madness today - particularly on Pillars - was plagued with mechanics not working properly, the jump reactive putting players in the wrong place, or locking them out entirely... and that seems to have been a common theme with that fight over a period of time now.
In a different raid, Lord Arak tonight was downright ridiculous. The only bug that we didn't see were the wall bubbles traveling diagonally instead of in a straight line, we copped everything else on top of having some crazy ability lag but had no latency issues.
Some things you just have to write off as part and parcel, but lately it has been getting worse When a raid is wiping over and over again, to issues that aren't the result of someone simply derping, it's disheartening.

Everytime a player gets near me now my fps drops anywhere from 20-40 fps. And I don't mean like in a raid event killing a boss, I mean just being in Ghar station Tau. Nothing going on, and all it takes is one single player to come near me and my fps drops from like 40 to 13. Anyone else having this?

reported this to trion 3 times, even spoke to tech live chat, and also to a Gm who visited me in game yet still this annoying problem continues after over THREE months.
Anytime u link an item in chat form rioft store OR Auction House the game double links it for an unknown reason. Very inconvenient and annoying.
It also can lead to guildys and friends being robbed of pp and currency, for example if you link a newly level 50 the 6 slot focus sigil of the five to him and tell him to buy that for 7500 planarite, the gamer will DOUBLE link it, and he may buy two for no reasons, seeing as two are linked by the bug, if you are busy in NTe say and he doesn't know the game.
Come on, Trion, its been 3 months now, and its been seen by live Gms, get it sorted.

The past few days every so often when you click to open the presents under the tree in silverwood zone, I crash and an auto report is sent. Happens 3-4 times a night.

title says it all, its getting rather annoying almost every time I want to login and play the game crashes after I select my character 5-6 times consecutively before it lets me in.
Not to mention... the regular game crashes after maybe 30-40mins every now and then, which just cycles me back around to the first issue.
This is complete BS trion and should be the number 1 priority, along with the 2025 errors and glyph crap, cause I been there last week too.

Apart from the many bugs that people have been posting on the new warfront, my biggest complaint about this map is how disadvantageous it is to be a Defender first when queuing in.
Though the time before the match starts is usually ample, given around 1-2 minutes, all the people who queued for a warfront aren't put in at the very beginning. There are usually 5-10 people, give or take. This makes defending two stones at a time very difficult as it now depends on each individual player to carry their own weight when preventing the Attacking team from destroying each idol. I don't necessarily see this as a problem, as it requires people to actually PvP.
However, it's only after the first two rooms are cleared that more people begin to file in, bringing the total number of players on each team to 15-20 respectively. While the last and only stone makes it easy to defend at that point, it is when the Attacking and Defending teams are switched that makes it incredibly more difficult for the previously Defending team to capture the other team's idols, given that more respawns can be rotated accordingly to whatever side of the room needs help, in addition to the fact that healing and DPS can be adjusted to adapt to the other team's strengths and weaknesses. Thus, the team that is Defending first usually loses 1-2 or even 0-3, whereas the following team that Defends enjoys a 2-1 or 3-1 win.
I hope this issue can be addressed somehow, and I have seen matches turn out like this more than just on occasion. It's a fun map, and I can definitely see people utilizing their souls more appropriately to push people into traps and whatnot in the future. It's just that with the current bugs and most players' attitudes towards the map, I can't really find any enjoyment from doing this WF anymore in a random queue.

hi I already spend more then 2 hours trying to find the fish. I also looked some guide but the fish location change. Anyone have found the fish...I understand why you made all the minions in fae yule minion-chain bound to account, but I think it was unnecessary to make the minion which starts the chain bound to account too. People may want to spend their own icicles on other stuff and buy the minion with platina.
Anyway now you have decided to do this I'd like to undo the trade: I bought grish and I intended to sell it. When I bought grish I couldn't know that you were going to make it bound to account. So it would be fair to give me the event currency back. The minion is completely useless to me now, because I have already collected it.

(1) All events are non-mandatory; commitment is based on event-specific RSVP -- No one is expected to prioritize the game over real life.
(2) The point of gaming is to have fun -- Having fun in a cooperative MMO often requires effort. We don't ask for masterful performance, but we do ask that our members endeavor for success.
Raids are currently scheduled for 10am and 7pm ST, Saturdays and Sundays. We use Discord for voice chat.

After being away for over an year, I have come back to play Rift again.
But I have noticed something.... I have bought Storm Souls pack (4 new souls to choose from) but it seems that I can no longer choose the 4 souls o.o
In the shop it says I have bought it already...
Yet I cannot choose...

I'm a bit curious to know if I'm missing something, or if there is a bug with the weapon VFX? When I try to place one of the buffs on my costume weapons, it will place on my main hand, but if I try to place on my off hand, it says it needs to be used on a different type of item. Is this intended? The buffs work perfectly fine on my real weapons. Has anyone else had this issue?

Where do you go for guild quests after level 10? I read that at level 20, the guild quests are in Tempest Bay, but what about between 10 and 20?tried everything people posted about fixing this. nothing worked for me. both sides of the house get this eu/na. ping/tracert(decent ms on both), repaired, set graphics settings to min(pointless to do with a custom pc that can handle anything I throw at it....literally), uninstalled/reinstalled, rebooted pc, reset bios( really annoying to have to set it up again), also checked my home network( routers, switches, and everything else I have along the way). yet still I log into an alt that's sitting in moonshade highlands and it gets booted, alt in silverwood it gets booted. so I don't know whats going on. so much for nothing ever happens when the tech is in front of the box.

I'm new and trying to make something a little familiar to me. A warrior that is physical in nature, Dealing good aoe and single target and well perhaps playing a little unhindged. You see I tend to play well barbarian-warriors. from 3.5, 4e (rage born and thane born- especialy thane born) dnd, Wows furry spec, the candy barbarian from trove, I like that feeling of taking two one-handed swords or a great sword charging in alone or as part of a vanguard and just decimating all that stand in my way with out thinking of my safety maybe inspiring those around me to fight fiercer. For I like the Homers choice. I would rather spend one year as a lion than 10 lamb. For what do I have to fear if there dead before well they can kill me
Fluff aside I'm not sure how to go about this I spend the last 3 weeks trying everything with little satisfaction.I have tried soul after soul and not really getting anywhere. I just want a Brutal no magical based build where I can challenge 1 mob or run into a army and slice them up, finding the pre-mades a little lacking and can use more experienced hands. If it happens to be a pre made Maybe a break down might be in order.

I missed doing phase 1 on my character but I only get offered phase 2 as a quest. Is there a way to do it?Every time I try to login with my primalist (which is reduced to trading duties) the game crashes after 2 seconds for several days now. Now this happens to my main as well, which means I can neither play the game nor spend money on it (hint-hint-hint).

put up objects in the dimension are back to front......and I can turn objects not simply around her axis. Everything is skew basically first. This was not earlier in such a way. Is there in the settings an option where I this can change?

So I actually managed to finish a dimension for the first time ever. Name: Grotto of Life Owner: Rebexi Shard: Faeblight Here's a hint: ...I sort of miss the broken timer because
1.A Lot More Kills
and
2. The match more then likely would end in a tie leading to a massive fight at eye in the end for 10 minutes almost every time
Now, I'm not saying we want broken timer back, but can you maybe change the Loot Timer to allow teams to stay in CQ so we can have large fights at the end instead of the winning team just walking in and grabbing loot?

I feel like doing a fun build, and the idea crossed my mind that it might be doable. I was thinking something like this would probably be as close as I could get it. I remember it being mainly Fire/Water/Lightning, so that's what I went for.

That every once in a while popup on Rift Store items, shows Frosty Levitation Supply Crate but can't buy it, says it's ran out. So why is it still on... 1400 hit mage looking for guild.As the title says 1400 hit dps or heal. Looking for a late night early morning raiding guild that is close to t3 or is in t3 already. I work until about 9pm server time so anything after that would work.

Hello everyone! So I'm running Rift on ultra graphics and I keep getting this flickering nonsense on my screen. I'm running 2 980 graphic cards so I know it's not a GPU issue. Also, when I run the the game on low there's no flicker. Any help would be greatly appreciaTed. I love this game and it would be awesome if I got this fixed! Thanks!

Eyebrows still MIA...I guess I'm the only one still afflicted since there would be other posts on this but the update didn't fix eyebrows for me, my avatar's eyebrows are still missing and so are other players I see (but not likely from their perspective?)

I can use my lightning emblem on the top melee weapon but when I try to use it on the one underneath it I get the message saying it must be used on a different type of item. They are both the same weapon and I've tried different combos but nothing seems to work on the bottom melee weapon (assuming its the offhand weapon). Am I doing something wrong or does it just have a kink in it?

The game has quite a bit to offer to earn experience. If you feel like you're getting burned out on one area, try a different part of the game. I was a fan of dungeons and questing, personally. When I began reading the quests, I became a lot more hooked as well.

I have a little problem with the amount of credits I got from a REX.
I bought a REX in the AH a couple hours ago.
I tried to consume it, but I got an error message, saying there was a problem and I should try again later. The REX disappeared from my inventory and was sent to my mail box.
I then tried again some minutes later and got the same result. Did this like 3 more times, but still got error message.
I restarted my game and glyph client, and I finally got it to work.
Now, the problem is: I got 12.5k credits from that single REX and I think thats not how it's suppossed to work.
So.. should I send a ticket? Should I spend the credits? Do you think I will get banned
(Sorry if something doesn't make sense, English is not my first lenguaje)
