Transferring palt between shards

If I understand well, you shard-hoped frome your home shard Gelidra to Typhiria and mailed there?
You need to know shard-hoping is not a true shard change.
When you shard-hop to Typhiria, you can do open content on Typhiria, because you are in the Typhiria world, but everything related to your character keeps Gelidra's settings. if you open your bank on Typhiria, you see your Gelidra bank. If you browse AH on Typhiria, you see Gelidra's AH. Even the channel is Gelidra's. And if you mail something on Typhiria, it still uses Gelidra's mail.

So what you did was mailing your pp to a character on Gelidra who happened to have the same name as your Typhiria toon.

To send PP or gear to an alt on another shard, you need to transfer on this shard, you can do this freely once a week, and if your toon is below level 40 you are limited to (3Xlevel) pp.
