Synergy Crystal at 60

Is it worth getting a crystal at 60? I will admit to not knowing much about them other than everyone keeps saying one needs to get them.

So, at 60 is it worth getting? And I noticed on them it says things like Gilded Rainment 0/4...ok, so where would one get that if I need to get a crystal?

I swap between Full Necro and full Pyro with extra points in Storm, don't ask, just seemed like it would work..lol

I don't raid (other than if you count IA's & occasionally Intrepids) and of course, most chronicles
