Coming back to Rift: Are their guilds that would let me pay them in Rex to join?

I realize I'm going to sound bizarre for this but here's where I'm coming from. I've never been into raids or group events in MMOs but I love exploring the world, filling lists and helping people out in game. I've played WoW for years and belonged to a competitive guild that ran raids regularly. However, I didn't raid with them - guild members sent me work orders to farm gold and mats for them and their alts. I've done this for years and loved it, the guild did too.

I was wondering if this would be something people in rift would like. I'd be willing to buy guild members Rex and basically turn the game into pay to play for me, in addition I'd use my characters to farm for my guild mates. On the one hand it seems obvious that people would want this. On the other, they may think it's too weird.

Is it something worth trying to find when I finish installing and start playing?
