difference between PvP and PvE shard is you can't interact with other faction on PvP shard, i. e. can't talk, trade, be in same guild, same party/raid (unless you go hop to PvE shard and wait PvP flag to disappear), while in PvE shard there no limitations for different factions - you can trade, stay in same guild, in same party. As for bloodiron, it's dead server, open world PvP is almost non existent in this game, battlegrounds in here are called warfronts and are quite a few of them, no GvG, but there is conquest - 3 teams fighting each other. No specific PvP gear, neithre PvE, it's just gear, and earn gear is various ways - winning warfronts, raiding, crafting (good gear quite expensive to craft), doing game activities and earning tokens and buying gear
