I have a question about notoriety. I have to max out my notoriety with various factions for the sake of raiding. However, I was told that once I maxed it out for one faction, it was account-wide - I have a question on how this works.
Is my notoriety tracked across characters on the amount I have, or simply flagged as (Honored/Revered/Glorified/etc) on the account?
More specifically, if I achieve a certain amount of notoriety on one charcater, say 230,00 to put it between Decorated and Honored, will I have 23,000 notoriety with that faction on a different character?
I'm asking because I put myself in a weird situation. I did not level my first character 60-65 through questing, I exclusively did dungeons and IAs. I have a max-level character with base level notoriety with all Nightmare Tide factions. I also have a level 60 character ready to be leveled. I'm wondering if I can't just level 60-65 by just story/carnage questing, gathering all the rep, then push to max it out on my main toon through the dailies and other methods. Essentially, I'd be able to knock out two birds with one stone.
