I hardly ever post here, but for once I like to share my feelings.
For the past 2+ years I mainly join pvp as a healer.
I dare not claim I super in pvp, but I do my best to help with the match when I enter a WF.
Now I am mostly used to all kinds of verbal abuse that happened in this time, as being the heal pinata when the enemy decides to focus me.
Also lately I noticed less and less healers in teams, more often then not I am the only one at start, maybe-maybe-maybe another switches after I ask for more or when we get wiped.
But what happened today, though not the worst in history, somehow got to me...
I am asking myself do people actually WANT heals in thier team?
Why do people think they can be overly rude and insulting to the few people left willing to take the job?
Have never seen DPS get as much abuse as heals, why do people think it justified to act this way to heals and not to DPS?
It is very very seldome to get a heads up, but on daily base you do get insulted.
Today I was in a match, got constantly focussed, and people complained of getting not enough heals, thought it was justified to mark me with a sad face. I seldome recieved any peels whatsoever. Yet still people cry, and those crying the most, it seems it does not enter thier mind to go heals themselves when they should realize more is needed.
Today because I was tired of this heal QQ, and decided to go a round DPS, this match an ex guildie wanted more heals in team, I refused, ofcourse he did not switch to heals either.
Instead I get a wisper, that I am a noob, I bought wilds pack (no clue what this has to do with me healing or not in WF), and again I am a noob. Could not even respond because he put me on ignore aswell :)
Match after I got RL, no heals in team, I was not in the mood to swap after the QQ, all DPS run past the first vessel, so I pick it, knowing that was asking to play pinata again :), we kinda wipe, yet no one, including me swap to heals, the other side had heals so you can imagine the outcome of the match, I did not stay to see if I am right, decided today is not the day to pvp for me and left match.
TLDR ..
I do not claim to be the best, I do claim to DO my bestest I can to help the team win.
What is more then I can say about alot of people joining WF.
So why, are people doing thier best to alienate the few dedicated pvp healers left, being rude and insulting to the point it oversteps the boundries of human decentcy(?spelling).
Why does DPS not get the same treatment?
Why do not more man up and swap to heals when it is needed, instead of spending half the match typing QQ in chat?
Sometimes I like a day off from heals ... vacation if you like ... why is this a problem?
