Whatever is going Trion should be noticing it and fixing whatever the **** they messed up this week. There are a few topics about this and if anything the problem is just getting worse. Since Wednesday I've been crashing before Margle even finishes loading, so I moved to TB. Today I started crashing while loading into TB too so I moved back to Meridian. Trion already has probably 20 or so crash reports from me alone. Now they need to get it together and get this fixed.

Since Hotfix 2, Rift client crashes every single time I zone into game

After patching this morning (EU cluster) I got to character selection screen, chose my main and waited to zone into Margle Palace. As soon as the game-world was rendered, I got a client crash. Sent report with a restart. This happened four times in a row.

So, I disabled all add-ons (Quest Finder, Carnage Book, Conquest Tracker, King Boss Mods, Rift Meter, Minion Sender) and re-tried entering on my main. Same result, instant client crash upon zoning in.

To see if the issue was only affecting my main, I also tried zoning in on each of my four alts to be met with exactly the same result, i.e. instant client crash upon zoning in. (All of the alts were also in Margle Palace).

As a final test, I created a new character, and this zones into the game just fine so it would appear that the issue is specific to Margle Palace.

So, this morning's hotfix has left the game currently unplayable for any of my level 65 characters as the client crashes as soon as I zone into the game world.
