Anyone has ever experienced having a normal latency while out in the world not doing any group activities whatsoever then when they start doing one, their latency increases to exponentially atrocious levels? Because this happens to me sometimes. I'm wondering if it happened to someone else and has found a way to fix it because it is really annoying when it suddenly happens in the middle of a raid.
Like my latency is ~250ms before we engage the raid boss, after a few seconds of me not lagging, it slowly delays until eventually my ms goes to ~10000+ms and I cannot hit any ability anymore but I can see everyone else playing normally. This happens 20% of my time playing and it is really frustrating when it catches me in the middle of something important...
Sometimes resetting my router fixes it, sometimes it doesn't and I have to drop out of the raid. Mrgh.
